Electrodynamic tethers can be employed as an immensely promising propulsion system for boosting the altitude of spacecraft, cite instance space stations, satellites, and like, which ameliorates expenditure fuel minimizes detrimental spacecraft impacts. This paper analyzes libration dynamics stability reboost with insulation electrodynamic tethers. A key aspect tether is how to keep aligned local vertical stabilized in context external disturbances. It has been shown current research that librational instability results slackness swings long-term motion without effective control. Moreover, force (Ampere force) regarded a distributed load acting on causing deformations may if severe. Aiming at problem, optimal control method PID are given stabilize by modulating current. The dynamical model established using Lagrange equations second kind under considering deformation laws proposed based model. effectiveness validated through numerical regulation law appropriate parameters used system.
